
Research Division of BMW Group to use GPS enabled WinWAP Browser in car PC |
Slob-Trot Software Oy Ab provides BMW's research division with aspecial version of Slob-Trot's popular WAP browser for Windows with aninterface for using Global Positioning System (GPS) data. BMW will usethis technology in their research to provide advanced wirelesssolutions for future cars. This technology enables position-relatedservices such as displaying the nearest gas station or restaurant andeven providing directions on how to get there.
